Mathematical literacy is the individual's ability to formulate, employ, and interpret mathematics including concepts, procedures, and facts, in a variety of contexts. If students possess good mathematical literacy, then they will be able to solve various problems arising in their daily life. Certainly, problems will come up in every human life; therefore, mastering mathematical literacy is very important for students. In relation to students' mathematical literacy, the research aims to analyze students based on Carl Gustav Jung's personality types, which are divided into two types, extrovert and introvert. This mixed-methods research was conducted in a class with 38 students from the eighth grade. The quantitative approach in this study focuses on the validation and reliability test of instruments in the form of questionnaires and mathematical literacy tests. The qualitative approach in this study focuses on the processing and interpretation of interview process data to obtain deeper information about the students' responses to test and non-test instruments. Data collection is done by filling out questionnaires, doing mathematical literacy tests, and conducting interviews. It can be concluded from the results that 65.79% of the participants have a low level of mathematical literacy, while the rest of the participants have a moderate level. It does not find any participants with high mathematical literacy in this study.
